DrivingDistance (#19) - units used by Driving Distance (#370) - Message List

Hello,

the in:parameter 'distance' unit used is degrees, why ? (cf. HTML doc "distance: float8 value of distance in degrees") Is this because the SRS of the graph geometry has to be EPSG4326/WGS84?

What about the unit of the 'cost' parameter? Is there a required unit / or can we used meters, km, miles, or even a time unit as long this is consistent with the content of the cost column?
